Towards the end of each calendar year a voluntary “Real Living Wage” is suggested by the influential but unofficial Living Wage Foundation. As at September 2018 the current “real living wage” is £8.75 per hour across the UK and £10.20 per hour in London. This voluntary “real living wage” applies to anyone aged 18 or over.
